A Superb Valentine Affair - Swing Dance Leeds, (Rob & Helen) started the night with three fantastic dance demonstrations and a great (large) dance class to get people in the mood, Then we were entertained by an awesome performance from 'The Little Big Band' with an electric buzzing atmosphere and a constant full dance floor throughout the night and a super audience of 200 people that made for an Outstanding fundraising event for two really Important charities (Forget Me not Hospice and Martin House Children's Hospice ) I feel honored and privileged to have been asked to be a part of what was the best gig I have been involved with in a very long time!

Had a fantastic time at the Valentines Swing Ball last night, my head and feet are a bit sore but it was worth it!!! A huge Thank you to Paul for organising it, The Little Big Band for the superb music, Rob & Helen of Swing Dance Leeds for getting everyone up dancing.....and to all of you who came along to support Forget me not and Martin House hospices. What a great Valentine’s Night with Little Big Band! Even though it is very much a big band, the sound was refined and restrained – perfect for our 100 seater venue. The programme was perfectly matched to the event – listening music in the first half and more up-tempo dancing in the second, and dance our audience certainly did! Lovely singing and playing all round, and we want you back again!

Just a brief note to formally thank you and the band for such a very enjoyable concert on Saturday last.
